Bien configurer le « touchpad » Synaptics sous Ubuntu

Je vérifiais quelques bug reports quand je suis tombé sur celui-ci: Bug #46700 in xorg (Ubuntu): xorg.conf – synaptics touchpad misdetected. En examinant ma configuration, je m’aperçois qu’effectivement j’ai un Synaptics touch pad et qu’il est mal détecté!

En prime, j’ai découvert un utilitaire qui permet la configuration des options à l’aide d’interface graphique: qsynaptics. Pour l’installer, il suffit d’avoir ajouté le dépôt « Universe » d’Ubuntu et de chercher qsynaptics à l’aide… Synaptic (le gestionnaire de paquets)! Voici une capture d’écran de cette application:

  1. J’ai justement un problème avec ce « touchpad » qui ne se comporte pas sous Ubuntu comm il se comportait sous windows.
    Merci pour cette info je vais essayer.
